People on the Move.

Amie Remington, general counsel, Landrum Human Resources Inc., spoke this month at the National Association of Professional Employer Organization's 2008 annual Professional Employer & Marketplace Conference, held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.

Remington, joined by other panelists, spoke on the topic "Immigration for Professional Employer Organizations." According to NAPEO, employers are facing revised immigration and workforce eligibility laws and it is critical for employers to understand these changes.

She shared her legal expertise on E-Verify and other immigration obligations with conference attendees to help ensure they are on the right side of the law.

Remington serves on the Board of the Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations.
